ELECTED BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

Ronald Wastewater District Board of Commissioners put the ratepayers first.
How many elected Commissioners sit on the Board of Ronald Wastewater District?
There are three elected commissioners on the Board.
Each serves a staggered six-year term.
How do they put you, the ratepayer, first?
- You have a voice in the setting of the rate. Board meetings are open to all. They are held at 5:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at the District’s office, 17505 Linden Ave N. Occasionally they are offered at a different time. Please see our website for current meeting times, or call ahead of time to confirm the next meeting at (206) 546-2494. Express yourself!
- You can have a say in how your utility is operated. If you are a registered voter residing in the District, you too can run for the position of Commissioner. If you’d rather have a say in another way, please contact your elected Commissioners or the District’s General Manager. Each Commissioner's email is located below.
- Your Commissioners serve the ratepayers. The Commissioners annually review the rate to determine if a rate increase is necessary. All three know that right now times are tough.
NEW! On October 18th, 2011 your elected Board of Commissioners of Ronald Wastewater District: Arnie Lind, Art Wadekamper, and Brian Carroll, decided not to increase the sewer rate for 2012. Your sewer rate will remain the same - $11.15 per month.
Ronald Wastewater District is an independent, non-taxing, special purpose district and not part of the City of Shoreline. You, the ratepayer, elect your commissioners to set policy for the District and they are aware that many ratepayers are struggling to make ends meet. Now is not the time to add to that burden. Annually the Board reviews the District's sewer charge. It will do so again in October/November 2012.
The next Board of Commissioners meeting will be held on: February 7th, at 5:30 p.m.
