HOW TO READ YOUR SEWER BILL
- TOP OF BILL
The top of the bill includes information regarding customer, account number, address of the site receiving services, the billing period and the next billing or due date.
- MIDDLE OF BILL
The middle portion of the bill includes charges outstanding on the bill as well as treatment fees. Charges include previous balance, late charges, or adjustments and total amount due. Rate information also includes treatment charges from either King County or Edmonds depending on where the wastewater from the service location is treated. - BOTTOM OF BILL
The bottom portion of your bill is a stub that includes information regarding customer name, account number, address of the site receiving services, total amount due and due date. Please detach this bottom portion and return it with your payment. Including this stub ensures that your payment is processed accurately.
- BACK OF BILL
Please take a moment to read the back of your bill. It contains important information regarding late penalties, dishonored check charges, property lien for non-payment, and property owner liability.
